Keep your trusty wand handy as you track down flying owls, Hagrid-like giants, centaurs and unicorns like those you’d see in the Forbidden Forest, dragons that seem straight out of the Triwizard Tournament, and eerie figures as scary as any Death Eater or Dementor. Wizards and muggles alike can play and enjoy this hunt. The hunt is not an addition to or variation on Harry’s adventures, but instead references to the books will provide a surprising bridge to many strange and wonderful works of art. It’s a great way to discover—or rediscover—the museum. This hunt is designed for kids and adults to do together, but all-adult teams will be allowed to compete separately. Kids must be accompanied by adults. Recommended for ages 10 and up.

Since her first Bay Area Zumba(TM) class in 2009, Jackie Broussard has seen Zumba(TM) grow from an obscure workout to a worldwide fitness phenomenon. Jackie decided to hold a Zumbathon(TM) to give back to the community and spread the word that fitness can be fun. A Zumbathon(TM) is a 3-hour dance party featuring several experienced Zumba(TM) instructors, bringing the energy of a hundred or more dancers together for an unforgettable workout. Zumba(TM) is "a Latin-inspired, easy-to-follow, calorie-burning dance fitness party!" Music is paced with fast and slow rhythms, resistance training, and all the shimmying and shaking inherent in salsa, merengue, flamenco, reggaeton, samba, belly dancing, hip hop, and tango.
All proceeds from this Zumbathon(TM) will go to The Oakland Tech PTSA to supplement the schools budget and programs. Oakland Technical High School is a comprehensive public school in the heart of Oakland that serves an ethnically diverse population of nearly 2000 teens. Fifty percent of students are socioeconomically disadvantaged, yet Techs innovative, rigorous and supportive programs create a safe and positive college-focused environment. Oakland Tech PTSA, with over 400-members, raises funds to supplement the schools budget and support sports, dance, technology, performing arts, and academic programs. We are looking for donors and sponsors to help offset the event expenses.
Meet us on the front steps of Oakland Tech to dance the whole time, or for part of it. Local vendors and student groups will sell food and drinks, and Oakland fashion students from Rock, Paper, Scissors art collective will be on hand to "customize" t-shirts with scissors and paint.
Anyone who can stand (or even sit) and move can do Zumba. No experience is necessary and all ages are welcome, from kids to high school seniors to senior citizens! Bring your friends. Bring your family. If you come dance, youll get a colorful Zumba wristband and a fantastic workout.

With five actors doubling up to play twenty six characters within the space of fifty minutes with full costume changes, the audience witness the physical endurance of the performers. Five protagonists provide the plot, but this piece is essentially about the struggle of a larger community.
The play was first performed in February 2011 at Queen Mary University of London with the support of Queen Mary Theatre Company. After being awarded best production of the year it was taken to the Edinburgh Festival in August 201.
With a hugely entertaining cast, an emotional finale, an increasingly relevant message in light of recent unrest under the Conservative government and a ground-breaking fresh writing talent, From The Dark Hills is a definite ‘must-see’ of this summer’s Fringe.
